How do I reserve an apartment?
On www.sleepandstay.com you’ll always find a button on the upper right side where you can choose the dates of your travel and book an apartment of your choice. You’ll be able to make your reservation in 4 simple steps. We will charge you 50% of the total cost of your stay on the credit card you have sent us through the booking form. You will pay the remaining 50% of your stay during the check-in.
How will I receive confirmation of the reservation?
Once you’ve filled in all the required info you will see a confirmation message with your reservation number and we’ll also send you a confirmation email with all the necessary details of the reservation and the exact address of the rented property. If you don’t receive a confirmation email (maybe you have introduced a wrong e-mail address?), please contact us as soon as possible.
How can I cancel my reservation?
To cancel your reservation send us as soon as possible an e-mail to email@example.com .
Why do you need my credit card?
Right after receiving your booking request, we will charge you 50% of the total cost of your stay on the credit card. You will pay the remaining 50% of your stay during the check-in.
Is it safe to pay with my credit card via your webpage?
Yes, paying with your credit card via our web is absolutely safe. We use an Extended Validation Certificate of Geotrust to ensure that web transactions can be done with utmost confidence. We encrypt and secure your data, when it travels on the Internet. We use a 256 bits key. We use SSL technology to protect your data and your credit card’s, too.
How can I pay for my stay?
The 20% of your guarantee fee for your reservation has to be paid by credit card (Visa, Master Card) or via bank transfer. You can pay the remaining 80% when you arrive in cash or using Visa or MasterCard credit cards. If you prefer to make a bank transfer for your reservation, please contact us at +34 615 664 510 or send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. Payment must be made in Euros. (€).
Are there any extra costs?
The only extra cost is the city tax which the city of Girona charges. You will have to pay 0,45 € per person per night for an apartment and 0,95€ per person per night for an villa up to a maximum of 7 nights. Children under 16 are exempt from this tax.
Do I have to tell you how many people will stay in the apartment?
Yes, we will ask you during the booking process how many people will be staying at the apartment. Only the number of people you have specified will be able to use it, and this will always be limited by the maximum sleeping capacity of each apartment. Infants who are 3 years old count as children and hence as guests.
How can I get from Girona airport to my rented property?
There are several options:
- To an apartment in Girona town take the city bus that goes every hour, in your booking
confirmation we will provide you a map how to find your apartment. Depending on the
apartment it will be 10 to max 15 minutes walking. Possibility is to take a taxi from station
- To a villa outside town best to take a taxi.
- You can ask us to arrange for a taxi to come and meet you. Once you’ve collected your
luggage you’ll find the taxi driver waiting for you at the exit with a sign with your name on
it. To reserve your taxi, we need to know the number of the flight you’ll be arriving on. You
can give us this information in the comments section of the booking form or by sending us
an email to email@example.com. This service will cost you between 25 € and 50 €,
depending on the driver’s waiting time.
What time is the earliest I can access the apartment?
Check-in to the apartment is from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Please, inform us about the approximate hour of your arrival in the comments section of the reservation form or by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org .
If you won’t be able to arrive between 4 and 8 p.m., please contact us and we’ll find a solution. Depending on availability, they may be ready earlier or later than that time. The latest check-out time is 11 a.m. Please contact us if you need to enter the apartment beforehand or to vacate it later—we’ll do our best to accommodate you, subject to availability.
Where do I pick-up the apartment keys?
After confirming your booking, you will receive an email confirmation with the exact address of the apartment. We will be waiting for you inside the apartment.
How late can I leave when I check-out?
The latest time for check-out is 11h. If you would like to check-out later, we’ll do everything we can to help, as long as there is availability. But you’ll always have to consult us beforehand.

Do I pay any special rates for children to stay?
No. The prices of all our apartments make no differentiation between the number of guests staying in them.
By using the comments section on the booking form or by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, you can also ask us, at no extra charge, for the baby-cot.
What happens if I break something?
Please, call us as soon as possible and we will try to fix it or replace it if necessary. During the check-in we ask for a 300,- € guarantee in case you break anything. For more details click here: BOOKING CONDITIONS (LINK)
When do you de-block the deposit?
After you have vacated the property we will check that both the property and all the items in it are in the same condition as when you received them, any loss or damage will be charged to your account.
If nothing untoward has occurred, we will de-block the guarantee in a maximum of 48 hours.
What facilities do the properties have?
Everything will be ready for you on arrival. All our properties are equipped to include every last detail so that you can enjoy a comfortable, individual and relaxed stay. In the description of your apartment in our web you will find all features.
Is there daily cleaning of the apartment?
When you arrive you will find your property spick and span. If you would like us to clean the apartment, or for us to change the sheets and/or towels, you will have to pay for this separately. Ask us for prices when you make your booking or when you arrive.
Will I need an adapter for the plug sockets?
All our plug sockets are European.
Are pets allowed?
We are very sorry, but pets are not allowed in our city apartments and villas, except in Golf 1, 2 and Llora. An additional costs of 50 euro will be charged.
Can I smoke in the rented property?
We are sorry, but smoking is not allowed in the apartment. Please respect this!
Is there underground parking available in Girona?
On a 5 minute walk there is an underground parking (not included in the price) of the company SABA. In our booking confirmation you will find a map with the locations.
Can you recommend restaurants, shops and museums to visit?
Were you to want advice, we’d be only too ready to recommend our favorite spots in Girona and surroundings.
How do I book extra services?
Since we believe that a holiday is only complete when you have all services available, we can help you with almost everything. A chef, restaurant reservations, babysitter, taxi service, wine and city tours, anything you need we’re happy to help!
